Holding FerretsUpdate:  Kramer and George are retired.  They have spent many years bringing joys to children all over the Triad!    George and Kramer are the best!  Ferrets have so much energy!   They are so curious, too!  Both of our ferrets came to us from another animal rescue.  They are so playful.  Many pet stores sell ferrets.  The most important thing to know is that because ferrets are related to skunks, even though they are descented they still have a musky odor.  This is the number one reason we get calls about ferrets that are not wanted anymore.  We try to teach children that just because an animal is cute and fun, it doesn't mean they won't be a lot of work.  We encourage children and adults alike to do lots of research before accepting an animal into your home and making them a family member!
