The Creature Teacher, Inc. is
a federally USDA licensed facility. We carry state permits for indigenous species
and we have two licensed wildlife rehabilitators on site. We also carry
liability insurance. We are members of the
Wildlife Rehab, Inc of Forsyth County. Our permits and licenses are featured below.

| On
June 30th, 2005, our Executive Director attended a workshop in Charlotte, NC,
presented by the IRS Department of Treasury for small 501(c)3 tax exempt
organizations. We strongly recommend that anyone wishing to support a
non-profit organization should not only verify the status of the group but also
ask to see the group's determination letter and yearly form 990s. We also
recommend that you ensure that the organization carry liability insurance if
they are bringing animals to your location. Creature Teacher, Inc, carries
liability insurance, (there are currently no insurance classifications for the
type of service we provide so we must be categorized as a petting zoo for
liability insurance purposes. Please be aware, however, that we do not
provide a typical "petting zoo" service!) We also carry a USDA license, two NC licenses, compliance with Forsyth
County regulations and completion of several classes. Here are some of
