From our schools:

"Dear Tracy, Thank you again for the wonderful programs this past summer.  The Creature Teacher was a big hit with the children and I have been asked several times since school began if you would be coming this fall.  You were very well organized and prepared every week.  The children learned a lot about the animals through your presentation, seeing the animals and the activity sheets that went home.  This was a great idea.  I hope we can have you visit with us again."   Sincerely, Denise Matthews, Administrator, Friendly Avenue Baptist Church Weekday Learning Center, Greensboro, NC

"The Creature Teacher is a treasure to our preschool. The children LOVE it when she comes with the animals. They have learned sooo much from the program. Tracy and the creatures have become part of our family here at Covenant. She is a blessing ! She handles the children great and always comes through with her promises. They are like little sponges and take in everything she says!"  God Bless, Diana Glass & Karen Hoyle, Covenant Preschool, High Point, NC

Hi Tracy,
Thank you so much for standing in for Carla Johnson at the Carver School Road Branch Library last week. Your presentation was wonderful, and the children really enjoyed meeting Iris the turtle, Flower the skunk, and Pickles the 'Possum. You combined good information about the animals with a lively style to create a great program that kept your audience on the edge of their seats. We all appreciated your sharing your knowledge and your animals with us. I hope you will consider visiting the Carver Branch Library again for another program.
Sincerely, Kaye Cook- Children's Librarian Carver School Road Branch Library

"The children thoroughly enjoyed this program and retained a lot of what was told to them.  The exposure to different animals was quite beneficial.  We have incorporated more animal news into our curriculum now.  Ms. Hallett, A Child's World, Winston-Salem, NC

"The Creature Teacher interacted very well with the children.   She was alsways enthusiastic as well as entertaining.  We really enjoyed having her as a part of our learning experience.  The children learned all about animals that they usually do not learn about."  Ms. Lewis, St. Anne's, Winston-Salem, NC

From Parents:

My son is enrolled at Shady Grove Preschool in the 2 year old class.   He loves Creature Teacher days and will talk about them for days.   Today I had the opportunity to sit in the class with him and meet  Ocho.  I can see why Aedan gets so excited.  I thought maybe it was just because he's an animal lover like I am but he's also learning which is important to me and makes an impression on him (believe it or not).  I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful program!

Dear Creature Teachers,
My daughter Gracie is a student at SFYC and she wanted me to send you a message about how very much she enjoyed meeting Casey yesterday.
As I picked her up from school, she went on and on about how cute he was and recounted his visit in great detail---although she first said his name was Jack, then Joey, then Cody!  My two older daughters both got the story as we picked them up from their 2 different schools yesterday, then again for my husband at dinner, so I've heard about it so much, I feel like I WAS THERE!

Creature Teacher has been an important program this year and part of the reason we plan to continue at SFYC again next year with Grace as well as
her younger sister, Sidney. (Yes, we have 4 daughters!)  THANK YOU for bringing an educational love of animals to children all over the Triad!"
Sincerely,
Mary Layman

"I just wanted to let you know how much Traven enjoyed meeting your sugar glider today!  That's all he's talked about and all of the kids were so excited about it when I picked him up today!  GOOD WORK!  I'll even have to go sometime when you'll be there again!"  Julie Kegley, Kernersville, NC

Creature Teacher, I had been meaning to write and tell you how very happy were with how the birthday party went on Saturday. Thanks again Tracy. We were all happy with the animals and with you. I have talked you up to anyone who cares. They know about you in VT and NH! I wish you the best of luck. I think what you do is great.       Heather, Clemmons, NC

Thank you so much for taking the time to teach our children. Especially during the summer, when learning is the last thing they want to do.  Our son is at Covenant Kids in High Point. We are so glad that Diana and Karen contacted you to do your program. When the monthly calendar comes out, he skips over the swimming and field trips, looking to see when "Miss Tracy" is coming. He can hardly wait, and comes home so excited about what he's learned. His father has a degree in wildlife biology, so he is always asking questions, and is absolutely fascinated with animals.
Thanks again for your program.     P. Olsen, High Point, NC
